Street Fighting

Street fighting involves the use of anything and everything that can be used as a weapon including all the parts of the human body and various objects that can typically be found lying in the streets of any settlement or community.

Bottles, sticks, stones, chairs and other types of furniture, common household tools and working implements–all of these things can be used to deliver potentially deadly force when faced with an opponent.

For purposes of this article however, we will stick to street fighting techniques that do not involve anything other than the parts of the body.

Even with that restriction, there is a lot of damage that you can do. Just using all the various parts that humans are born with, an experienced street fighter can cause considerable amounts of pain and injury, and in some cases even death. Let’s start from the top–literally–then, shall we?

First up in your arsenal of inborn weapons is the head. While your instincts may tell you that the head is a part that should be protected at all costs–and it is–it can make quite an effective striking weapon when used properly.

When using your head as a street fighting technique, you should always remember to make contact with the top part of the forehead.

Next up are the elbows. Used to tremendously devastating effect in mixed martial art competitions, the elbows can be used to strike in almost all directions towards the nose, chin, throat, neck and solar plexus of your opponent.

Aside from its great force, elbow strikes tend to come out of nowhere, and your opponent will probably never even see it coming.

The fists are of course one of the parts of the body that is most often used in combat. As to whether it is used effectively however is another matter entirely.

Anyone can throw a punch, but it needs a fair amount of knowledge and experience to be able to throw one and connect effectively without breaking your hands.

These are only a few of the street fighting techniques that you can use. They should be a good start though and give your opponent something to think about!

When your fighting there is no special moves that you can come up with , its just instinct , im 15 and i was in a three on one and i won ! , now im the hardest in the year , it was when a boy same age tried to hit me with a cricket bat , i caught it somehow in my arms threw it away , and ran at him and but his cheek and spat it out , the tissue riped and he has a permanent scar , i had to go to anger management , biting and nipping isnt gay its fighting , it hurts !

Ok so I have to fight this kid who’s my age and height but he wieighs about 10 more lbs than me. He’s supposivley a kickboxer and wrestler and all the expirence I have is the stuff I see on tv. I kno sad right. Anyways it’s supposed to be at a party and I’m not that scared off this kid and I really don’t want to look like a loser losing a fight o this kid. I don’t want to beat the living s*** outa him but I mean if I have to I will. Can anyone give me advice on how to end this fight quickly without getting him to choke on his own blood? You know what I mean? 11/8/10

Ok so I know decently how to fight…but everytime I get into a fight once i knock them down and punch them and stuff I can’t keep hitting them and I don’t know why…and alot of fights i dont wanna get in trouble in. So is it better to kick someones a** or to get in trouble?

I came here expecting tips on furthering my sparring and fighting abilities but I came about something else. Seriously people, writing comments about your battle scars and counting your fights may make you feel good about yourself. But if you take it into reality are you really all that? The articles here are great and all. Standing in an experienced viewpoint, if you really want to seriously injure someone (hopefully not), its easy to say that if you can’t take a beating from working out, you sure won’t be able to take a beating from someone you’re fighting. Your so-called “cool” battle scars and memories will build up only to hinder you in the future. Honestly, its best if you work out and actually train yourself to defend yourself for a good cause rather than just fighting for your pride. Learn to fight to defend your pride so you can just brush people off knowing you can beat them when you don’t have to actually do it. It avoids fights and it also makes you feel good that you’re a capable fighter. Best to learn to defend yourself then to try to injure someone. Peace out guys.

  24. phantom on January 4th, 2011

ive been fighting for years and im 15 now and the way to win is always start of with a jab in the face/nose so they get kinda dazed then do a couple more quick one so he cant hit u back because he’ll be pretty shocked then give some power ones :) .

and when peoplw say it’s not funny get getting attacked by like 10 mans , why i have been attacked by like 8 mans in the park i bombed a few off them then about five mins later they rushed me from behind, and its kinda fun getting hit because you get adrenaline , after like half an hours i got my mans then we rushed them :)

  25. phantom on January 4th, 2011

and alos Hitman don’t duck from the fatboy because if he swings wildly what if they connect then you got damaged and your whole fights over.
And cuz youe fight is planned when the date comes go up to him and straight start punching him dont stop or delay because he could end up giving you one punch which will give him the head start

  26. AceKilla on January 21st, 2011
